Dr. James Lawler is a native of Marion, IL and graduated from Marion High School. He then began his undergraduate work at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, while playing football. He transferred to SIU, Carbondale, IL to finish out his undergraduate work and football career. Afterward, he graduated medical school from St. Matthew's University and completed his three year Residency at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, IL. Dr. Lawler currently resides in Marion with his family.
